I am a skincare junkie! I work in cosmetic dermatology and due to COVID 19 we are not seeing any patients. Over the past week we have had several patients reach out to us asking about treatments we recommend for home use that work and give great results. One of my favorite products to use in between spa treatments is Estee Lauders Perfectionist Pro Instant Resurfacing Peel.  Every time I use this product, I get compliments on how great my skin looks. This “micro peel” gives me soft and radiant skin. I have sensitive skin and it is safe for me to use at home. It truly does give a “peel” effect with the irritation or downtime from a traditional chemical peel.
This product has Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids which are chemical exfoliators that help accelerate cell turnover. These naturally occurring acids help resurface skin to improve its texture and radiance. It also has Hyluraonic Acid which hydrates, plumps, and protects the skin. Not only do I have glowing skin, but my pores are smaller too.

How to use:  
  • Use two times per week in the evening.
  • Apply an even layer over clean facial skin.
  • Leave on for 10 minutes. Use a wet washcloth to remove the product and then rinse face thoroughly.
  • A tingling sensation is normal. Avoid eye area.
  • Use sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure while using and the week after.

Quarantine Lip Fix

During this pandemic my lips are so dry and cracked from wearing PPE in surgery all day. I found a great product that has helped moisturize and plump my lips. Tatcha's Kissu Lip Mask is a miracle product. This product is thick and lasts. That is why I wear it under my mask all day to keep my lips moisturized.    It has a blend of four main ingredients, including squalane, Japanese-peach extract, three-rose extract, and Japanese camellia oil. It has a nice fruity scent too. After using this product for 2 weeks at work my dry chapped lips have disappeared and my lips are not dray and flaky anymore.
